A leaking roof provides Nell and Ari with an unexpected rhythm.

Transcript

Panel 1: Rain falls outside the bakery. A small roof leak drips into a metal bucket. Nell looks up, holding a wooden spoon.
Nell: "One troublesome drip."

Panel 2: Nell sets a second and third bowl beneath two more small drips. Ari, wearing his postman's clothes, arrives with a rolled dry repair cloth and a small wooden stepladder.
Ari: "Three, by my count."

Panel 3: Ari safely works from the low stepladder to secure a neat temporary waterproof patch beneath the leak. Nell taps the now-dry buckets lightly with wooden spoons, amused. No dangerous roof climbing.
Nell: "I liked the rhythm."

Panel 4: The leaks have stopped. Ari is back on the floor, smiling and clapping while Nell makes a little concert on the dry buckets. Rain remains outside.
Ari: "Keep the band."
