Sequence 1: The signal

The harbour mechanic confirms readiness over the radio beside the installed stabiliser. Tamsin checks the closed-channel signal. Mara stands ready with the old-connection drawing. Ivo monitors the repaired network.

Mechanic: "Channel closed. Crew ready."

Tamsin: "The channel stays closed until we are clear."

Mara: "Ready here."

Ivo: "Holding within the bands."

Sequence 2: A separate connection

The old mooring pulls on the tilted workshop landing. Mara and the trained mechanic work the release from the protected bay. The old external connection separates. Mara watches through the sheltered opening.

Mara: "The old tie is free of us."

Sequence 3: The workshop goes

The empty workshop and its timber landing collapse into the water. The heavy lathe falls with the broken floor. Ivo watches from the protected control bay, his hand remaining on the watch log. Five inhabited houses stay afloat beyond the wreckage.

Mechanic: "The next crew is coming. The loan is still conditional."

Sequence 14: Five lights

Five illuminated houses float above the dark water, with the workshop space empty. Edda pours tea at the common table beside her blue bowl. Anja and Oren each hold their own key. Neri draws the five houses in the notebook while Ivo watches.

Sequence 15: The page after the test

Mara studies the lift record, failed trace, new settling trace and workshop losses beside her chipped yellow cup. She writes NEXT WATCH on a fresh page. Ivo places his remaining tool roll beside the losses list and takes tea. They look out towards the five houses and the empty workshop gap.
