Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records saved by your browser. Local storage is another way for a website to remember information on your device. WebtoonHaven uses first-party storage for reader preferences and available reading features. Authorised staff sign-in also uses WordPress authentication cookies.
Reader preferences and saved items

These records use local storage, with no automatic expiry set by the reader. They remain until you or your browser clear the relevant site data. Local storage is not automatically sent with every page request as a cookie is. For signed-in users, available reading features may also synchronise with their account.
Reader-rating cookie
Public voting is not yet open. When it opens, choosing to rate creates wh_reader_ballot, a first-party cookie lasting up to 365 days. It lets the same browser update or remove its scores. An ordinary visitor merely opening the rating panel does not create a rating cookie.
The cookie identifies a browser ballot, not a verified unique person. A reader can remove an existing ballot even if new voting is paused. If you want to delete a ballot, use the removal control before clearing the cookie; afterwards we cannot reconnect your browser to that earlier ballot. Other technologies and future changes
Hosting, security and delivery systems may process technical information when a page loads. Browser storage and server logs are different: clearing cookies does not erase a hosting log or an email you have sent. The privacy notice explains the relevant purposes and retention approach.
Public newsletter sign-up, checkout and account registration are closed. Optional advertising, analytics or embedded services must have any required information and consent controls before activation. This notice is not a claim that every hosting or third-party technology has been independently audited.
Your choices
Your browser’s site-data controls let you inspect, block and remove cookies and local storage for WebtoonHaven.com. Removing data can reset reader preferences, saved items or sign-in sessions. Blocking storage can prevent those features from remembering your choices. Where consent is requested for an optional technology, you must be able to decline and later withdraw it.
