Transcript

Panel 1: Tavi carries a small parcel tied with string. The parcel seems to tick, indicated by two short vibration lines, no printed sound. Pip cocks its head.
Tavi: "Something is ticking."

Panel 2: At a small clock tower, an elderly friendly clockkeeper in a blue waistcoat opens the parcel. Inside is a brass mechanical escapement with a tiny pendulum, clearly a machine part.
Clockkeeper: "Our new heartbeat."

Panel 3: The clockkeeper safely fits the brass part into the open clock mechanism while Tavi holds a light. Plain clock face has tick marks only. This panel is silent.

Panel 4: The clock hands move again and a little mechanical bird emerges from a hatch. Tavi and Pip look pleased as the clockkeeper smiles.
Tavi: "Right on time."
