Episode summary

The White Tiger asks Haneul to take her grandmother's place. She asks what staying would cost.

Panel 1: At the tea-house doorway, Haneul stands in her teal coat over a grey wrap layer and a red scarf with two ends in front. Looking back inside, she settles her coat lapel with one hand while her other hand hangs at her side. Panel 2: Inside the tea house, Bit sits steadily on the wooden floor, facing the open doorway at left. His body and inner single tail glow softly in the sunlight; the intact final tail tuft remains matte and unlit. The complete tail lies along the floor to the right.
Panel 3: Seen from behind, Haneul walks alone up a sunlit stone mountain path through autumn trees. Her calf-length teal coat falls above her visible brown boots, with red scarf fabric around her neck. Distant mountain ridges open ahead. Panel 4: Haneul stands at the left of the mountain path, facing the enormous White Tiger at right. A low stone lies behind her. Her boots and the Tiger's paws are supported on the same path, with autumn trees and mountain ridges beyond.
Panel 5: On the mountain path, Haneul stands at the left in her teal coat, grey wrap layer and red scarf, its two ends hanging in front. She looks up at the enormous White Tiger facing her from the right. His head is level, his eyes calm and his mouth slightly open as he addresses her. Panel 9: Still standing on the mountain path, Haneul turns her head down-left toward the descending route. Her teal coat and two red scarf ends remain in place. The downhill path leads away through autumn trees behind her. Panel 10: Haneul now sits on the low boulder at the left of the shared mountain path. Each hand rests on a separate knee and both boots are grounded. The enormous White Tiger stands at the right, looking down toward her, with autumn mountains beyond.
Panel 11: Seated on the supported low boulder, Haneul looks uncertainly up and right as she speaks. Both hands rest separately on her knees, both boots touch the path, and two red scarf ends hang in front of her teal coat and grey wrap layer. Panel 12: Haneul remains seated in a closer view, her open questioning mouth and eyes turned up and right. Two red scarf ends hang over her teal coat and grey wrap layer; her separate hands rest on her knees. Autumn mountains and a winding river lie behind her.
Panel 13: In a close three-quarter view, the White Tiger looks calmly down-left toward Haneul outside the frame. His amber eyes, intact ears and slightly open mouth are visible above his broad cream-white chest. Warm sunlight edges his striped fur against the autumn mountain view.

Haneul: Coming?

Bit: I'm guarding the leftovers.

White Tiger: The First Quiet wakes at the end of every keeper's line.
