Applying to WebtoonHaven
WebtoonHaven.com accepts pitches and sample links for private editorial review. Applications are handled by WebtoonHaven Editorial Team. This page explains the application process and the publication arrangements we would discuss if your work is selected.
Your work stays yours
Submitting a pitch does not transfer ownership of your work, give us exclusive rights or authorise public publication. We use the application and sample link to assess the work and contact you about it. We do not treat an application as permission to sell, republish or train an AI model on your work.
You may use a pen name or team name. You must be at least 18, own the material you submit or have permission to share it for review, and identify collaborators accurately. Do not submit stolen work, impersonate another creator or include material you cannot lawfully share.
What to send
Use Submit your series for a pitch, proposed audience, format and sample link. Relevant content warnings help us assess suitability. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment information or full production archives. A public sample remains subject to the privacy and access settings of the service where you host it.
Review and decisions
Applications are reviewed by the Editorial Team and are not published automatically. We may ask for clarification, request a different sample or decline work that does not fit the catalogue or our ability to support it. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, a response date, promotion, readership or income. See our community guidelines and content guidance.
Before any publication
If we want to publish your comic, we will ask you to confirm the particular work, credits and publication permission in writing first. Our proposed starting point is a non-exclusive permission to host, format and display the agreed episodes and agreed promotional extracts on WebtoonHaven, while you retain ownership and can publish elsewhere. No such permission is granted merely by completing the application form.
The written arrangement must identify the episodes or material covered, public credit, reader access, any changes needed, any use of promotional images, and how either side can end publication. We will not assume permission to make substantial creative changes, license your work to another publisher or use it for model training. Any different permission must be discussed and expressly agreed.
Costs and payments
Applying is free. There is no application payment, automatic subscription, promised royalty or revenue-sharing programme attached to this form. Any later paid service or commercial arrangement would be offered separately with its own clear terms before you agreed to it.
Corrections, withdrawal and removal
You may correct or withdraw an application by contacting the Editorial Team from the email address you used. If work is later published, its written arrangement will explain how to request corrections or removal and how publication can end. We may restrict material while investigating a substantiated rights, privacy or safety concern. Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and give the creator an opportunity to respond.
Privacy and contact
Applications and contact emails are private. Only an agreed public credit would appear with accepted work. The privacy notice explains application records, service providers, retention and your controls. Your existing rights under applicable law are unaffected.
