Episode summary
A ghost librarian lends a sunny-day reader its unusual shadow and finds an invitation waiting in return.

Transcript
Panel 1: In the sunny courtyard of a small library, a child sits on a stone bench with a red book open and raises one hand against the glare. A friendly mint-coloured ghost librarian with round spectacles and a navy bow notices from the open arched doorway.
Child: "Too bright to read."
Panel 2: The ghost floats beside the bench and points towards a dark plum, parasol-shaped shadow on the paving. The child looks at it with delight. There is no physical parasol in the ghost's hands.
Ghost librarian: "Borrow mine."
Panel 3: The parasol-shaped shadow now hovers above the bench, shading the child and the open book. The child extends a hand towards the free place on the bench, inviting the hovering ghost to stay.
Child: "Stay for a chapter?"
Panel 4: The child and ghost sit and float close together at the bench, sharing the same open red book beneath the broad plum parasol. Both smile as they read in the shade.
Ghost librarian: "Make it two."
