Haneul walks ahead up a snowy village lane towards a small storehouse. Go follows with a brass lantern in her right hand and a brown bag on her left shoulder. Tiny Bit walks at Go's feet. An open wooden doorway looks downhill over snowy village roofs. An intact brass Bell hangs from its crown loop on one wall bracket above a wooden bench. Its blue cord rests in a loose coil on the bench.
Close view of two matching red ribbed scarves: one over Haneul's open teal coat and grey wrap jacket, the other beside a charcoal coat. The second person's face is outside the frame. Bit stops below the stone porch step, ears lowered and mouth slightly open, with four paws on the ground and one pale-gold-tipped tail. A brown boot is visible above.
Over Haneul's shoulder, a woman with a lined face, silver temples and a low bun turns towards her. She wears the matching red scarf and a charcoal coat. The intact Bell and its slack cord remain behind her. Haneul stares towards the woman, one hand resting on the wooden doorframe. Her grey wrap jacket shows beneath her open teal coat.
Mi-rae faces Haneul with a worried expression and clasped hands, away from the hanging Bell. The blue cord still rests slack on the bench. Haneul remains at the doorway on the left, her hand on the jamb. Mi-rae stands apart on the right. Their matching red scarves frame the bench and the stationary Bell between their positions.
Mi-rae looks down towards the grey crossover jacket visible beneath Haneul's open teal coat. Haneul watches her; both remain apart. Haneul keeps her hand on the ordinary wooden jamb and looks towards Mi-rae as she speaks. Her grey wrap jacket and red scarf remain visible.
Mi-rae lowers her gaze towards the red scarf around her neck. Her lined face looks tired and distressed.
